I use the medium of photography as a way of recording ethnographical interactions between space and culture.
Since 2012 I have been collating documentation of my placed-based experiences through still and moving images using the more immediate and personal camera on phone devices.
This ongoing collection has been displayed on various open digital platforms during this period. My more recent photographs are exhibited on my Bluesky page.
Included on this page are some of the psychogeographical recordings I have made over years of hiking an alpine mountain—Kunanyi/Mount Wellington, in which the main city on the island of Lutruwita/Tasmania sits beneath.
My photographic work has been published in academic publications in London; is a part of the New Landscapes Institute collection in Sydney, Australia; was featured in a Tasmanian cultural publication as part of a festival of island; as well as being exhibited in galleries and part of private collections.
